What is High Risk Drusen?
Drusen are tiny yellow or white deposits that accumulate under the retina, the light-sensitive tissue at the back of your eye. While small, isolated drusen are common and often harmless, "high risk" drusen are larger, more numerous, or have specific characteristics that indicate a significantly elevated risk of progressing to advanced Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD).
