We Believe Medications Should Be Affordable — Full Stop
TheDrugClub started because people were skipping refills when the price at the counter did not make sense. A membership is a flat monthly plan that lets you check eligible savings before you fill.
Why We Started
Prescription prices can be hard to compare. Membership is $19.95 per month for one person or $29.95 per month for an eligible household, with no long-term contract. See membership plans and how membership works.
Our Mission
Make prescription medications more affordable to check and fill, whether or not you have insurance. A membership does not replace care from a healthcare professional.
What Members Can Check
Eligible medications linked to the active formulary may have no additional cost under listed supply, quantity, fill, and fulfillment limits. Other prescriptions may qualify for membership pricing. Pharmacy participation and fulfillment terms vary. Common questions are on the FAQ.
How We Operate
Participating pharmacies dispense prescriptions. Confirm current eligibility, limits, price, and pharmacy participation before you fill. Your health information is handled under our privacy policy.
Who we are
TheDrugClub (also written The Drug Club) is a prescription savings membership at thedrugclub.com, operated by TheDrugClub Inc. That legal name is in Terms §1 and Privacy §1. TheDrugClub is not a clinic and does not fill prescriptions itself. Its revenue is the monthly membership fee: Single is $19.95 per month, and Family is $29.95 per month. The Family plan covers your household's eligible prescriptions.
The active formulary includes 800+ medications.
Reach support at support@thedrugclub.com or (424) 375-7114. Headquarters: 110 E. Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33444. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Full card numbers are not stored on TheDrugClub systems. See the privacy policy.
A prescription savings membership, not an insurance plan
TheDrugClub is a prescription savings membership, not an insurance plan. It is not a Medicare plan, not a Medicaid plan, and not a replacement for health coverage. It does not pay medical bills and does not satisfy a requirement to carry health insurance. A valid prescription from a licensed prescriber is still required. TheDrugClub does not prescribe medication.
Membership pricing is generally a cash price used instead of insurance on that fill, not combined with it. Cash purchases generally do not count toward insurance deductibles or Medicare Part D out-of-pocket totals. Compare the member price with a copay before you fill. Plan details are on membership.
How prescriptions are filled
No separate TheDrugClub pharmacy license is needed. Patients fill at a local participating pharmacy, or a partner mail pharmacy fulfills mail orders. Present the member card at a participating local pharmacy. Licensed pharmacies participate across all 50 states. Confirm that the location participates, and confirm eligibility, limits, and price before you fill. The step-by-step is on how it works. Pharmacy options are on the pharmacy network page.
Risk-free trial billing
At signup, your card is authorized only to validate it. That authorization is not billing, and no membership charge is made then. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged. If you continue, both months are collected at month 2. After that, the membership fee is billed monthly.
There is no long-term contract. Cancel anytime by emailing support@thedrugclub.com or calling (424) 375-7114. Membership stays active through the end of the current billing period. Partial months are not prorated (Terms §5).
Mail-order fills
A partner mail pharmacy fulfills mail orders. Not every prescription is eligible for mail delivery, including some controlled substances and other restricted medications.
Who may not benefit
$0 with membership on eligible medications, under listed supply, quantity, fill, and fulfillment limits. Other prescriptions may qualify for membership pricing. Not every prescription is eligible for $0 with membership. Pharmacy participation and fulfillment terms vary.
A membership may not cost less if insurance copays are already low, if the medications are not eligible, or if prescriptions are filled only rarely. People on Medicare who are close to a Part D out-of-pocket cap, and people with Medicaid, often do better using their plan for covered drugs. TheDrugClub does not guarantee the lowest price. Confirm the price with the dispensing pharmacy.
