Locked Out of Your Pharmacy App? How to Refill and Check Status Another Way
· 1 min read
Can't sign in to your pharmacy's app or website? You can still request refills and check status by phone, text, or at the counter while you get back in.
Short answer: Being locked out of a pharmacy app doesn't stop your refills. Use the pharmacy's phone refill line, a text reply, or the counter to request refills and check status, then use the app's own account recovery steps to get back in.
Refill another way
- Phone: call the pharmacy's refill line with the Rx number from your label.
- Text: reply to a refill reminder if your pharmacy offers it.
- Counter: ask in person and confirm the ready time.
See requesting a refill so it's ready.
Check status another way
Call the pharmacy and ask: "Is my prescription for [medicine] ready?" If calls are hard to get through, see can't get through by phone.
Getting back in
- Use the app's "forgot password" or account recovery option.
- Make sure the email or phone on the account is current. If it isn't, ask the pharmacy how to update it.
- Ask the pharmacy staff whether they can help or who to contact for app support.
Never share your password with anyone who contacts you unexpectedly.
Keep your own reminders
While you're locked out, you won't get app alerts. Set your own. See refill reminders you set yourself.
Locked-out checklist
- Refill requested by phone, text, or counter
- Ready status confirmed
- Account recovery started
