About Cystitis
Cystitis, a common and often painful inflammation of the bladder, affects millions, particularly women. While uncomfortable, it's usually treatable, but prescription costs can add up. TheDrugClub is here to help you manage these expenses, offering significant savings on the medications you need to feel better, faster.
Cystitis is the medical term for inflammation of the bladder. It's most commonly caused by a bacterial infection, often referred to as a urinary tract infection (UTI). Symptoms can include a strong, persistent urge to urinate, a burning sensation during urination, frequent small amounts of urine, cloudy or strong-smelling urine, pelvic discomfort, and sometimes blood in the urine. Beyond bacterial infections, other forms of cystitis exist, such as interstitial cystitis (a chronic condition with no known cause), drug-induced cystitis from certain medications, or radiation cystitis following cancer treatment. Recognizing the signs early is key to effective management.
